Bottle Description
This Ardbeg was released to commemorate the retirement of legendary Distillery Manager and Committee Chairman, Mickey Heads.
The whisky itself has been aged entirely in ex-Rye casks which is a first for Ardbeg and the bottle design enjoys a strong Pirate themed livery.

Founded in 1815, Ardbeg has become an extremely popular brand and as a result have had to increase their production over the last few years.
With releases such as their Committee bottlings always being in demand as soon as they are released.

All items are carefully inspected and any marks or damage are noted within the lot description. We do however strongly recommend that you undertake a thorough close-up inspection prior to placing any bids. If you are not satisfied with the information shown and would like more details, please contact us on [email protected] and our team will be happy to help. It is also important to note that lots will be sold as seen and described.
It is important to note that should an outer box be provided, it will be photographed and shown regardless of the condition. If there is not an image of an outer box, this means it is absent and will not be provided.
All lots can have insurance against breakage or loss during transit added at an additional cost. This is available to add at the checkout at a cost of 4% of the hammer price. Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of the liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against leakage in transit.
Frequent Questions
How much does it cost to buy a lot during auction?
The successful bidder will be charged the following fees:
Buyer Commission – 10% of final winning bid, known as hammer price.
Delivery – Costs for delivery will depend on shipping address and size/weight of
package. See Shipping & Insurance for more information.
Please note that VAT (currently 20%) will be added to all costs for UK-based buyers. Those out with the UK will not be charged VAT however it may be applicable for the country to which the package is being shipped.
When is payment due for bottles I have won?
Payment should be made immediately after an auction has ended. We will allow up to 72 hours from auction end to make payment in full. If you haven’t paid for your won items within 72 hours, you will be charged a late payment fee which is 4% of the full outstanding balance.
How quickly will I receive my winning lot?
At the checkout, you will see the delivery charge and the estimated transit time. Every order will be shipped via a trackable courier service and a tracking number will be provided to you. To avoid any disappointment, please make sure that we can ship to your country prior to bidding in an auction.
